DEOVA is indicated to prevent pregnancy. It is a combination of birth control pill that contains two types of female hormones, Desogestrel and Ethinylestradiol that prevent ovulation the release of an egg from an ovary. DEOVA also causes changes in your cervical mucus and uterine lining, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and harder for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus and when taken properly, prevents pregnancy.

To achieve maximum contraceptive effectiveness, DEOVA Tablets must be taken exactly as directed, at the same time every day, and at intervals not exceeding 24 hours.

This product (like all oral contraceptives) is intended to prevent pregnancy. It does not protect against HIV infection (AIDS) and other sexually transmitted diseases
